Terms and Conditions

By approving this estimate and/or accepting services from Walter Electrical Contractors, you (“Customer”) agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

1. Payment Terms
Unless otherwise stated in writing, payment is due immediately upon completion of work. This applies to all labor and material charges, including any change orders or additions approved by the customer during the course of the project.

2. Late Payments
Invoices not paid in full within 30 days of the invoice date are considered past due. A late fee of 10% of the total invoice amount will be applied every 30 calendar days the invoice remains unpaid, as permitted by law. If any portion of an invoice is disputed, the undisputed portion must still be paid on time.

3. Lien Rights
Walter Electrical Contractors LLC reserves the right to file a mechanic’s lien in accordance with Minnesota law for any unpaid balance. Acceptance of services constitutes agreement that lien rights may be exercised in the event of non-payment.

4. Collection Rights
In the event that an account is referred to a third party for collection or legal action, the customer agrees to pay all reasonable collection costs, including but not limited to attorney’s fees, court costs, and collection agency fees, to the extent allowed by law.

5. Workmanship Warranty
Walter Electrical Contractors LLC provides a 1-year warranty on all workmanship from the date of project completion. This warranty covers defects in labor and installation only. It does not cover manufacturer defects, misuse, abuse, modifications by others, or damage caused by unrelated electrical or structural issues. Warranty work will be performed during normal business hours.

6. Fixtures and Materials
Fixtures or materials provided by the customer are not covered under warranty, and Walter Electrical Contractors LLC is not responsible for their performance, defects, or compatibility with other systems. Warranty is void if other parties modify the installation.

7. Permits and Inspections
Unless specifically included in the estimate, permits, inspections, or any related fees are the responsibility of the customer.

8. Acceptance of Terms
By accepting an estimate, scheduling work, or allowing Walter Electrical Contractors LLC to commence services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms may be updated periodically; the version in effect at the time of service will apply.
